Comfort and Glory: Selections from the Winedale Quilt Collection Exhibit

Comfort and Glory showcases seven quilt treasures from the Winedale Quilt Collection, a scholarly resource for the study of quilts housed at UT Austin’s Briscoe Center for American History. Quilts on display date from the 1840s to 1987 and include the Tiger Lily (1940), a masterpiece by Bertha Stenge, known as “Chicago’s Quilting Queen.”
